Drums/Tote Destruction

Patrick J. Kelly Drums prides itself on meeting all of its customer’s needs and expectations.

Certain clients have understandable liability issues with the prospect of having drums or totes that once held their products reconditioned and then sent back out into the marketplace.

For clients in these situations, PKD will wash, shred, and then grind their products so they may not be reconditioned. PKD can also provide certificates of destruction for such services.

Drums/Tote Reconditioning

Patrick J. Kelly Drums reconditions Steel, Plastic, and Fibre drums of all makes and sizes. We also recondition IBC/Totes and Carbon and Stainless Steel bins.

PKD reconditions UN and Non-UN drums. We have a comprehensive waste water management system and hold all required permits to recondition in the State of New Jersey.

Plastic Recycling

Industrial waste (or waste not generated by general consumers) is a problem that Patrick J. Kelly Drums has been working against for the last 10 years. The largest volume of waste produced by PKD’s operations for many years was scrap plastics.

PKD has invested significant capital to build and maintain the shredder, re-grinder, and automated wash line we use to produce a valuable by-product that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.

This program has significantly reduced our output of trash; and while we work toward 0% waste output, but have not yet achieved it, PKD continues to be committed to remaining a “Green” company.
